Sounds like a frequently asked question to me. Where do we go to answer frequently asked questions?

I'm sorry. I just thought it would make sense to raise this question in an area that had a thread devoted to hardware that is and is not supported. My b

Do some work on your own and show us that. You'll find that people will always be far more interested in helping this way.

Hey, this sounds just like a summary of one of the links from the rules posts!

Wow. It does. But one might also consider that before someone would go and post 10 times in a general discussion forum and spend a majority of his day waiting for a reply on a post of a simple question, he might have already looked in the faq and on the original website. This model is not listed as supported or unsupported on either. They have similar models, but I do not know what chipset this is and if it is a supported type. That would be why I posted a question about it in a forum that is subtitled as a place where you can ask Will this device work with KisMAC?". My question is simple. doesn't mean you have to be a smart ass

Figure out what chipset it has and you will know if it's supported or not. It's just that simple, and that should be obvious from the FAQ and the wiki start page. The one being an ass is the one wasting other people's time with basic things.

Dear ajbigneus
I do not know Fish personally but he seems to be fairly knowledgeable, and he spends a lot of time helping others. For Free.
Calling him a smart ass is not only out of the line, but also totally disrespectful.
I find him very patient to reply 99 times to the same questions -sometimes mine- Often asked because some people are too lazy to read or believe that they entitled to some sort of privileges. I would have simply moved your question to the "how not to go about things" at the first post and even not bother wasting time pointing you in one direction.
But you are right on one point; it is a "simple question". A very simple one indeed. So what prevented you to Google that question? A little sense of entitlement or the simple fact that instead of being a "smart ass", you appear to be just a dumb one?
Do you really believe that being disrespectful like you are will make people on this forum act like your mommy and chew your food for you? What’s next? A little private tutoring for your little precious person?
They are out there, plenty of professional services that would be more than pleased to help you for a small fee of $100 per hour, please feel free to use them and call them "smart ass" if their answers does not fit your mood.
My suggestion would be to drop the Captcha for signing up, and replace that with an IQ test: Natural selection should act as a filter to prevent people like you insulting others that try to help you.
In short, Dear ajbigneus, go fsck –yrslf | sudo getbent

Best regards
