Pls move this to a more relevant forum if you think it may be of value. First post here so can't post anywhere but GD forum. We knocked up this little automator workflow which wraps kextload/kextunload for the RT73 drivers, allowing users to swap between Ralink's USBWirelessUtility app (active mode) and Kismac (passive). Kismac is a good citizen and loads/unloads its drivers but Ralink's didn't do the same, so this is only required if using the Ralink tool. Has not been extensively tested - just knocked together to give a pal a way to swap back and forth - input welcome, see readme for contact details. http://glob.bushi.net.nz/glob/wp-conten ... alpha1.zip < download here http://glob.bushi.net.nz/glob/2008/03/0 ... rs-easily/ < comments here |

cheers ... all it really does (with some ghetto wizard wrapping) is Code: sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/RT73USBWirelessDriver.kext and Code: sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/RT73USBWirelessDriver.kext |

Welcome to the forum and nice of you to post, but... In the future, please read the readily available documentation for anything you are seeking support for. Your questions will often be answered there. Next, read the rules of the group or forum you are considering asking a question of. This is another place that will often have pointers on how to find the answer on your own, and will save the time and annoyance of those individuals providing the free support. Unfortunately, I am the bearer of bad news. You are in flagrant breach of the rules. As such I am locking this thread. Please look around you a little more next time. |
